Hello!

Since the start of my career in 2014, I have 10 years of experience in designing and launching products at big tech companies such as Google and Citrix, as well as doing side projects for smaller startups.

As a designer, my mission is not only to create beautiful and functional products, but also to build successful businesses. In 2020, amid the global pandemic, I quit Google and embarked on an unusual journey to pursue an MBA degree at Harvard Business School. My seemingly unrelated experience in business and design gave me an analytical and strategic lens on the creative process and places me in a unique position to connect designers and business leaders.

Outside of work, I am a keen traveler and an accomplished artist. I have visited more than 30 countries to date and have had a book of illustrations of my travels in Europe published.

My design approach

Strategic thinking

Understand the people

Understanding people is the foundation of user-centered design. I conduct my own research or work with researchers to collect user insights.

Know the business

I work with cross-functional teams and align the design goal with the business goals.

Craft strategies

I have a strategic approach when it comes to product design and launching products. I make sure each launch is sequenced and built towards success.

Design execution

Depending on the need, I pick and choose the most suitable tools. I keep my process iterative and collaborative.

Empower the team

I organize and facilitate design sprints to get the team engaged in the design process.

Manage stakeholders

I engage the stakeholders frequently to get feedback and address problems proactively.

Driven by data

I use analytical tools, such as A/B testing and data analysis, to evaluate the design and make product decisions.

Iterate rapidly

I communicate the design iterations with sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

Test with real people

I validate the design with the users and incorporate the feedback into the next iterations.

Leadership & Community

With my background in both business and design, I am dedicated to connecting designers and business minds, mentoring young professionals, and educating non-designers about design thinking.

Mentorship

I mentor design students and junior designers, and UX/product practitioners who are considering an MBA education.

Design education

I hosted design thinking and Figma workshops in the Harvard community.

Entrepreneurship

I work with small startups and advise them about design and UX best practices.
